This course is designed to challenge and shift key paradigms essential for successful CM2 implementation. Over the course of three days, participants will take on various roles, gaining hands-on experience with all aspects of the CM2 process. As Upper Management, they will review and validate an enterprise baseline, ensuring consistency in content, format, naming, and numbering conventions. As Core Business Process Owners, they will create operating standards and procedures to populate the enterprise baseline. As Cross-functional Development Team members, participants will develop a product, establish its design basis and hierarchy, and populate its baseline. As CRB members, they will manage changes to both the enterprise and product baselines while ensuring that change effectivities are aligned with build schedules to support supply chain specialists. Process Specialists will learn to transform complex workflows into closed-loop phases, each managed by a process specialist. Additionally, as part of 3-member creator/user teams, participants will manage and execute individual administrative and product workflows, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the CM2 process in action.
