IPX Congress Emeritus Announcement

DENVER, Colorado, 30 January 2020 - The Integrated Process Excellence (IPX) Congress Executive Team is pleased to announce Mr. Robert LaFond and Mr. Greg Russ have changed status on the IPX Congress to Emeritus Members. As an Emeritus Member they will be considered in good standing for as long they wish to participate, differing from a Regular Member that requires a two-year minimum commitment.
Robert LaFond earned his CM2-Professional Certification (CM2-P) in 2016 joining the IPX Congress as a Regular Member in 2017. Robert retired from the United States Coast Guard with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4-Weapons. While in the United States Coast Guard, his steady accumulation of experiences and knowledge culminated in the position of Engineering Manager – Maintenance and Logistics Support. In his civilian career, he worked with Bizfon, Inc., as the Vice President of Information Technology and Services. In this position, he directed business systems analysis, database management, network, integrated voice services, and systems administration for manufacturing along with marketing and sales of telephone equipment and services. Robert’s CM2-P skills were needed at an enterprise level as Program Manager for SubCom, where he was the Program Manager – Configuration Management and Business Systems.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Granite State College, Concord, New Hampshire in 1998. While in the United States Coast Guard, he received extensive training in Leadership and Management, Total Quality Management – Team Leader, Commercial Vessel Inspector - Marine transportation industry, ship navigation and Master Training Specialist – Training and Curriculum Development.
Greg Russ joined the IPX Congress as a Regular Member after receiving his CM2-P in 2018. Greg has a diverse work background from his time working with Mogul Corp and Cummins, Inc. Throughout his career, he has shown an aptitude for CM2, working as the Manager of Engineering Standards, Director of Engineering, Corporate Configuration Management Leader, and Corporate Product Release Leader, all within Cummins, Inc. ly, he participated in or led teams to tackle project management, cost reduction, program development, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.
Greg earned his Bachelor and Master of Science at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, a Certificate in Spectrographics from Arizona State University; ISO 9001 Certification – 2000 and his CM2-P Certification in 2018.
