Corporate Change Leader & Enterprise Operating System Manager

CM2-Professional Certification, 2013

IPX Congress Member Profile

How did your career journey lead to change and configuration management?
During the early implementation phases of the Lean Principles and Business Process Improvement, I realized that the integration of Lean and CM2 was critical for our success and also could be a powerful advantage for our company.

What was your introduction to CM2?
While working with our IT team to implement optimized Lean processes and databases we had developed I was made aware that “CM2 was a methodology which could be the umbrella to manage all such processes and changes”. So I ended up taking the 5-day CM2 course with Ken Black and simply kept building on the principles and moving forward from there!

How has CM2 been beneficial to your career growth?
CM2 allowed me to combine all of my specialties - Lean Principles, Business Process Improvement, Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Operating Systems into one powerful change/configuration management process for the organization, both at a Corporate and Divisional level. The results were a real game changer significantly improving the company’s bottom line results!

What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on?
I actually graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Applications and Software, so anything I do today I learned on my own since then! I am a life-long, continuous learner so I am always reading and studying trying to improve multiple skills to better optimize the projects that I am working on - first gain the knowledge and then take action!

What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I naturally wake and start my day before 4 am (no alarm, really) and read at least one non-fiction book per week to further my education, so over the years my library has grown very large! Also, I am an identical twin and I am currently raising my last two teenagers still living at home.

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy most outdoors activities, jogging, hiking and golf. However, spending time with my kids has always been the most fun, even in their teenage years!
