IPX Congress Member Announcement: Duygu ABADAN SEVEN and Faruk Oğuz

The IPX Congress Executive Team is pleased to announce the election of Duygu ABADAN SEVEN and Faruk Oğuz as Regular Members to the IPX Congress, requiring a two-year minimum commitment, as of April 19, 2023.
Duygu ABADAN SEVEN
As a senior software developer in the field of product lifecycle management (PLM), Duygu has been working in the defense industry since 2015. She has experience in digital transformation of business processes, analysis of out-of-the-box PLM solutions and directing developments in the consideration of these solutions.
Throughout her career, Duygu has been responsible for customization of PLM tool functionalities, implementation of PLM solutions and development of external scripts to provide data to the customers and integrate data for the system. She has worked in system upgrade projects and data model change projects. Dugyu has expertise in 3DExperience Platform of Dassault Systemes and holds an ENOVIA Champion certification. In addition, since working with Scrum methodology, she is skilled in all aspects of Scrum including sprint planning, daily meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives. She is currently working as a Scrum Master leading the development team to complete the projects successfully.
Dugyu received a CM2-P Certification in 2019. She holds an MS Degree and BS Degree in Computer Science. She unified PLM and CM2 subjects for her thesis and accomplished her master thesis titled “CM2-Based Physical Item Hierarchy Implementation for a Product Lifecycle Management System." In her leisure time, Duygu enjoys playing volleyball, doing pilates, going to theater, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Faruk Oğuz
Faruk is a engineering professional with 17 years of experience in the aviation industry. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from ABET accreditated university plus Master of Business Administration degree. His background includes airvehicle structural design and structural analysis specified in repair and modification.
Currently, Faruk is serving as Engineering Manager of Configuration Management and MRB Engineering teams in Turkish Aerospace. His CM team is responsible for implementation of CM Principles and Data Management for all projects within the company. Due to collaboration between major aviation companies, he had many international duties and experience including Spain, Germany, France and United States of America.
Due to the complexity of aviation industry, Configuration Management is a key element in success. Turkish Aerospace digital transformation and end-to-end PLM projects based on CM are the main goals in the near future.
Faruk earned his CM2-Professional Certification in 2022. Faruk enjoys travel and spending time with family and friends. He is also a keynote speaker in Engineering and Talent Summits/Conferences.
